## Memory MCP connections allow writes by default

New Memory MCP connections now allow writes by default. Administrators can still
switch a connection to read-only from **Settings ▸ MCP**, and the account-level
writes kill switch continues to override every connection. Existing connections
keep their stored write setting.

The Google Workspace setup flow exposes the same Allow writes control as Custom
OIDC.

## MCP just-in-time users recover after deletion and show real names

Memory MCP connections that provision users just-in-time now recover
automatically when the underlying Zep user is deleted. Previously the connection
returned not-found errors for every tool call and resource read, and
re-authenticating did not restore access. Newly provisioned users also display
the first and last name from your identity provider instead of an opaque ID.
