Deterministic entity dedupe and strict ontology extraction
You can now control how Zep deduplicates and classifies entities as your graph grows. Custom entity types accept identity properties: when Zep extracts an entity whose identity values match an existing node, the two are merged deterministically instead of relying on similarity. You can also add entities to a graph, thread, or batch in strict ontology mode, which limits extraction to the entity types you have defined and drops generic entities.
Clearer billing errors in the dashboard
Billing and account pages now show a single friendly error message when a billing action fails, instead of surfacing raw internal errors. This affects the billing page, account deletion, and the billing portal link.
Custom instructions availability
The custom instructions documentation now reflects that the feature is available to Flex Plus and Enterprise customers.
